OPTOKON Returns to the U.S. Market with Launch of OPTOKON North America
Eustis, FL — OPTOKON a.s., a global leader in ruggedized fiber optic and networking solutions, proudly announces the establishment of OPTOKON North America, a U.S.-based joint venture with GARDANT GLOBAL Inc., headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. This milestone marks OPTOKON’s strategic return to the North American market after 14 years.
Following the earlier separation from Methode Electronics Inc., OPTOKON is now re-entering the U.S. with a clear mission: to build a robust platform for local service, assembly, and calibration, supporting its military-grade active devices and test equipment.
Strategic Objectives of OPTOKON North America
- A certified service center for OPTOKON fiber optic test devices and ruggedized active products.
- An assembly facility for specialty optical connectors tailored to defense and critical infrastructure needs.
- An accredited OPTOKON calibration laboratory, to be fully operational within one year at the joint venture’s headquarters in Eustis, FL.
With the establishment of OPTOKON North America, the United States becomes the fourth manufacturing country of the OPTOKON Group, following the Czech Republic, Malaysia, and Turkey. This new manufacturing and service facility will focus on supporting key partners in the defense, security, and commercial sectors throughout the U.S. and the wider region.
