OPTOKON Expands to the U.S. with Launch of OPTOKON North America

OPTOKON is proud to announce the successful conclusion of our participation at Modern Day Marine 2025 in Washington D.C., where we showcased two of our flagship solutions: the ruggedized AIRDA/XARDA Display Assistant and the LMRS Radiation Detection System.

As part of our long-term commitment to the North American market, our General Director, Ing. Jiří Štefl, met during the event with Mr. Paul J. Karch to finalize the founding of our new sister company – OPTOKON NORTH AMERICA.

OPTOKON NORTH AMERICA will serve as a strategic hub to better support our clients across the U.S. and Canada, with plans already in motion for:

• An accredited calibration laboratory specializing in the testing and calibration of optical measurement equipment
• Local assembly of OPTOKON products to ensure faster lead times and localized manufacturing
• Dedicated sales and support offices to strengthen customer relationships across sectors

During the meeting, the location for the new manufacturing hall, offices, and calibration lab was also agreed upon, marking a key step in building our operational footprint in the region.

The strategy for achieving our growth objectives was solidified, providing a clear roadmap for the coming months.
This strategy outlines key milestones for establishing local operations, strengthening customer support, and expanding our market presence across North America.
