OPTOKON’s Copper Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers are based on the SFP Multi Source Agreement (MSA). They are compatible with the Gigabit Ethernet standards as specified in IEEE 802.3. By default it is a full duplex device in preferred master mode with automatic crossover detection. The 10/100/1000 BASE-T operation requires an SGMII interface and 1000BASE-T module works with SERDES interface. Compact RJ 45 connector with fully metal enclosure, for lower EMI is RoHS compliant and lead-free.

3G-SDI Video SFP Optical Transceiver Module is a high-performance, cost-effective 3G-SDI optical transceiver module for broadcast video transmission applications over single-mode fiber (SMF). It provides data rates from 270 Mbps to 2.97 Gbps and is specifically designed for robust performance in the presence of SDI pathological patterns for SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 424M serial rates. S3SDI-D31-SP-LR-D provides extensive operational status monitoring (also called DDM) through an I2C interface. Output optical power, bias current, supply voltage and operating temperature are monitored. If a parameter monitored is outside the pre-defined range, the alarm flag associated with the parameter will be raised.
