Informace na PORTÁLU CZECHSPACE - Úspěšný závěr prvního Česko-indického průmyslového dne v oblasti kosmických aktivit

OPTOKON Group a OptoNet Communication oznamují nové partnerství se společností ARCON, Indie, zaměřené na pokrok ve vývoji, výrobě a prodeji špičkových telekomunikačních a kybernetických produktů. Partnerství bude sloužit vojenskému a vesmírnému průmyslu a bude zahrnovat zaměření na správu privilegovaného přístupu, detekci hrozeb identity a reakci, stejně jako na bezpečnostní operační střediska.

V rámci tohoto partnerství budou ARCON a OptoNet spolupracovat na vývoji strategie uvedení na trh pro své produkty a služby v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti v regionu. Tato spolupráce umožní OptoNet, zejména s jeho novým datovým centrem a dobře zavedenou páteřní optickou sítí, nabízet vysoce specializované služby kybernetické bezpečnosti, jako je Security Operations Center a Identity Access Management Services, jako nabídku SaaS velkému počtu klientů v regionu.

Memorandum o porozumění bylo podepsáno na Velvyslanectví Indie v Praze v úterý dne 18. dubna 2023 pod záštitou Ministerstva dopravy. To představuje důležitý milník v růstu obou společností, protože spojují své síly, aby se vypořádaly s některými z nejnaléhavějších výzev v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti, zejména pokud jde o kritickou infrastrukturu.

Současné a budoucí výzvy společnosti OPTOKON, a.s. v oblasti bezpečnosti

Společnost OPTOKON, a.s. je dlouhodobým dodavatelem zodolněných produktů pro výstavbu komunikačních a informačních systémů v armádním prostředí. Taktické optické kabely

Výraz  " taktické “ je označení zvláštní kategorie kabelů určených pro náročné provozní podmínky a jsou na ně kladeny velmi vysoké požadavky ohledně odolnosti a spolehlivosti. Primárně jsou určeny pro vojenské datové a komunikační aplikace. Je ovšem možné tyto kabely použít i v civilních aplikacích, například v kamerových systémech. Vysoká flexibilita těchto kabelů umožňuje jejich vícenásobné použití ve smyslu mnohokrát opakovaného rozvinutí a zpětného navinutí. Proto, aby tyto kabely splnily náročné požadavky, musí být při jejich výrobě použity speciální materiály a specifické výrobní postupy. Zátěž při testování těchto kabelů je proti běžné používaným optickým kabelům výrazně vyšší. Plášť kabelu je vyroben z termoplastického Polyuretanu. Typickým znakem tohoto materiálu je vysoká odolnost proti působení vody, UV záření, chemických látek, mikroorganismů a plísní. Také v mechanické odolnosti výrazně převyšuje běžně používané materiály, je houževnatý, odolný zejména proti proříznutí ostrým předmětem nebo proražení nárazem. Nejvýraznějším znakem je jeho vysoká flexibilita, kterou si zachovává nezměněnou i při velmi nízkých teplotách Sekundární ochrana vlákna je vyrobena z vysoce mechanicky, chemicky a tepelně odolného Polyamidu 12, který chrání optické vlákno před mechanickým poškozením.
Kevlarové tahové prvky dodávají kabelu vysokou odolnost v tahu a chrání optická vlákna před poškozením při odvíjení a navíjení. Odolnost kabelu v provedení „Military“ je viditelná při porovnání vlastností se standardním optickým kabelem podobné konstrukce:

Welcome to the January 2023 edition of the OPTOKON newsletter. This newsletter is the first of the year as we return from the festive holidays and look forward to what 2023 has in store for us. As is tradition, there is a New Year message from the General Director of OPTOKON, Jiří Štefl.

We also highlight recent visits to OPTOKON from a government delegation from Oman and the visit by Turkish students to OptoNet as part of the ERASMUS+ project. Rostislav Prosecký, the director of OptoNet Communication, also explains the new OptoNet data center in Jihlava. You can also find features on the OPTOKON Calibration Laboratory and the recent accreditation audit. This is all in addition to our usual features containing information about exhibitions and the ever-expanding new OPTOKON products section. As is the tradition at this time of the year at OPTOKON, we also feature the recent Mikuláš festivities. We would like to wish all our customers and partners a prosperous New Year.

Welcome to the October 2022 edition of the OPTOKON newsletter. The theme of this edition is the currently hot topic of cyber security, and we feature the FOTAS security system and the associated training seminar in Istanbul. Expanding on the theme of cyber security, we have details of the recent Digital Partnership for Cybersecurity and Resilience in Regions conference held in the picturesque historic town of Telč in Vysočina and attended by government ministers from the Czech Republic.

Welcome to the July 2022 edition of the OPTOKON newsletter. This edition features an article by Jiří Štefl, the General Director of the OPTOKON Group, on how the Group is planning for Industry 4.0 (the fourth industrial revolution) in terms of its cyber-physical transition. The implementation of Industry 4.0 is reflected in many of the articles in this edition, which include Stablenet software training at OPTOKON, the Signal Corp Conference focused on military solutions and the INFODAS workshop focusing on Secure Domain Transition (SDoT). 

Staying on the same theme, we preview the new OPTOKON Elektronik rugged laptops and smartphone and the same company's new fiber optic rack solutions. There is also the English version of the recent article on the FOTAS system published in the latest edition of the Review Magazine by the Defence and Security Industry of the Czech Republic.

Společnost OPTOKON nyní může oznámit, že vzhledem k rozhodnutí na úrovni představenstva o omezení investic v rámci Evropské unie je Datové centrum 100% českou investicí ve vlastnictví společnosti OPTOKON.

The OPTOKON Group and SAMM Teknoloji Announce Partnership for the FOTAS Fiber Sensing System 

Czech Republic & Turkey – February 28, 2022

The OPTOKON Group with its headquarters in the Czech Republic and SAMM Teknoloji of Turkey are pleased to announce a strategic partnership for the fiber optic based distributed acoustic sensing system FOTAS.

SAMM Teknoloji and OPTOKON Elektronik, the subsidiary of the OPTOKON Group, will be in a technology and product development partnership for mission-critical applications as well as providing business development and solutions to their clients. The FOTAS system will also be distributed by the OPTOKON GROUP.  

Distributed Acoustic Sensing technology senses vibrations through standard fiber optic cables and only uses one fiber optic cable in the field to protect the perimeter. The FOTAS system provides 24/7 protection exceeding 50 km for oil, gas and mining industries, military installations, public buildings, airlines, railways and highways, power plants, border security and all major industrial and residential sites. The safe operation of a facility is monitored by continuous, local, and remote monitoring of the operating conditions for all supporting technologies, including the optical pyrometer developed by SAMM Tecknoloji – the "invisible optical fence". The system will be used as part of the secure environment in the new OPTOKON DATA CENTER VYSOČINA, which will be opened in August 2022.

Místopředseda parlamentu Jan Skopeček navštívil Vysočinu. „V naší zemi je řada úspěšných českých firem, které konkurují i v sofistikovaných výrobcích světovým značkám. Dnes jsem se o tom znovu utvrdil v Jihlavě a v Pelhřimově při návštěvě výrobních společností OPTOKON a Datového Centra Vysočina. Je mnoho důvodů, proč být na naši zemi a lidi v ní hrdý“ uvedl poslanec Skopeček na Twitteru.

Během jeho návštěvy ho doprovázeli hejman kraje Vysočina Vítězslav Schrek a předsedkyně ODS Vysočina Eva Decroix.

"Dnešní společná návštěva firmy OPTOKON Kable Co., Ltd., s.r.o. s místopředsedou Poslanecké sněmovny Janem Skopečekkem mi znovu potvrdila, že na Vysočině máme odborníky, kteří se umějí prosadit v rámci celého světa. Díky za zajímavé pozvání do světa optických vláken" uvedl hejtman Schrek na svém facebooku.

Mám velkou radost, že se pan místopředseda vydal na svou první cestu k nám na Vysočinu. Proběhlo setkání s místními podnikateli, na které jsme probrali celkovou situaci země včetně výzev, které stojí před novou vládní koalicí. Pan místopředseda jako ekonom uvedl mnoho zajímavých poznámek a byla vedena bohatá diskuse mimo jiné na téma měnové politiky země, pracovního trhu nebo politiky v ochraně životního prostředí. Jeho návštěva na Vysočině byla zakončena s diskusí se členy ODS,“ uvedla předsedkyně ODS Vysočina Eva Decroix.

Decroix potvrdila i návštěvu poslance Skopečka na jihlavském Magistrátě. O .návštěvě nejsou dostupné žádné bližší oficiální informace. Nicméně návštěva vysokého státního představitele přichází v době, kdy Jihlava čeká na zprávy z Národní sportovní agentury o přiznání tří set milionové dotace. V průběhu února Jihlava plánuje zahájení výběrového řízení na zhotovitele stavby Horácké multifunkční arény.

The OPTOKON Group is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation  between OPTOKON, a.s. and LEMO-Middle East. The Memorandum was signed in December 2021 and covers  research and development plus business development for parts of Europe and the Middle East.
As part of the deepening relationship, OPTOKON Elektronik, a member of the OPTOKON Group, has become a  business partner for LEMO  products in  the Turkish  market.

Stalo se tak 5.10.2021 v průběhu ankarského veletrhu „Military Radar + Border Security Summit“ v prostorách univerzity Hacettepe.

Welcome to the September 2021 edition of the OPTOKON newsletter, which we issue as the summer turns to fall and we head towards the final quarter of the year. Senko to Support OPTOKON with SN^® and CS^® Connector Series

Senko Advanced Components (Euro) Ltd. today announced their support and collaboration with OPTOKON a.s., Czechia, to aid in their termination capability and sales channel for the SN^® and CS^® connector technology from Senko.

Basingstoke, UK — Senko Advanced Components (Euro) Ltd, (Senko) announced today the signing of a collaboration agreement, focused on Senko’s SN^® and CS^® connector series to support requirements into emerging markets in Czechia. A major project leading this collaboration, is the data centre "Datové Centrum Vysočina" which is currently under construction. OptoNet (a division of the OPTOKON Group) will be putting the Data Centre Vysočina into operation at the end of the first quarter of 2022, which will follow the strictest international standards. It is specified in accordance with the TIER 4 standard levels and is the only project of its type in the Czechia.

OPTOKON September Newsletter 2020

Welcome to the September 2020 edition of the OPTOKON newsletter. Did you know that OPTOKON holds not one but two world records? You can find out exactly why and for what later in the newsletter. We also have articles in this edition that cross the full range of fiber optics — from demonstrating the new ruggedized paging system to army generals through to measuring Insertion Loss in patchcords.

Naše ICT divize posílila vývoj v oblasti operační a kybernetické bezpečnosti a pro pevné a mobilní komunikační sítě. Vzhledem k tomu, že kybernetická obrana a bezpečnost jsou klíčové pro segment vojenské a veřejné bezpečnosti a ochrany, byl požadavek na portfolio produktů, které tuto skutečnost odráží. V roce 2019 ICT divize učinila v tomto směru významný krok uzavřením partnerství se společností CISCO a následnou certifikací Cisco Solution Technology Integrator, které firmě OPTOKON umožňuje vyvíjet a vyrábět a robustní produkty založené na Cisco řešení a nabízet je globální CISCO komunitě. OPTOKON byl prvním takovýmto partnerem společnosti Cisco v České republice.

OPTOKON je také Select Certified Partner Cisco. Produkty OPTOKON, které byly dosud ve spolupráci se společností Cisco uvedeny, jsou LMSW E2U Managed Switch, LMSW-E33 Switch a LMSR-R63 Router.

By taking precautions in accordance with the Emergency Declaration of the Czech Republic and adapting production to fulfil contracted orders, our manufacturing plants have been operating at 100% staff and we continue to work on orders and development projects.You can find the message from Jiří Štefl, the General Director of the OPTOKON Group, evaluating the the audited result of our last fiscal year 2019.

Návštěva prezidenta Asociace obranného a bezpečnostního průmyslu České republiky (AOBP) v OPTOKONU

Dne 9.6.2020 RNDr. Jiří Hynek, prezident Asociace obranného a bezpečnostního průmyslu České republiky (AOBP), doprovázený Ing. Kristýnou Stejskalovou, navštívil hlavní sídlo společnosti OPTOKON v Jihlavě.
Během návštěvy byla panu Hynkovi představena výroba pasivních a aktivních prvků a nově vybudovaná zkušební laboratoř, která poskytuje služby v oblasti mechanického testování kabelů, akreditovaného měření teploty a zkoušky v EMC komoře.
