Rather than supplying individual cables and connectors, OPTOKON helps create a complete, organised and supportable connectivity infrastructure.

Every cabling project has its own constraints. Equipment locations, distances, routes, installation space, capacity and environmental conditions all influence the final design.
OPTOKON works with customers to define the right cabling architecture before installation begins, including backbone routes, distribution points, patching, cable management and interface requirements.
The objective is a system that is technically correct from the start and practical to install, operate and maintain.

A cabling system must remain clear and manageable after installation.
OPTOKON considers installation access, cable routing, identification, maintenance and future capacity during design. This helps customers avoid unstructured additions, unclear connections and unnecessary complexity as the project develops.
The system can be prepared for expansion, additional equipment, new connection points and changing capacity without compromising the organisation of the existing installation.
Where standard connectivity does not fit the project, OPTOKON can provide customised cable assemblies and interconnect solutions.
This may include application-specific fibre-optic, copper or hybrid assemblies; specialised connector configurations; custom lengths; protected cable constructions; breakout solutions; or connectivity designed around limited installation space and precise routing requirements.
These elements are developed as part of the complete cabling architecture, not as isolated components.

Before handover, the cabling system must be verified and clearly documented.
OPTOKON can support optical measurement, inspection, cable identification, test records and technical documentation to give the customer a controlled overview of the completed installation. This documentation supports future maintenance, fault finding, extensions and lifecycle continuity.
