MNX LIGHT Communication Node

MNX LIGHT represents a set of data resources for establishing a communication network at lowest-level command posts. The communication node is capable of fulfilling the requirements for interconnecting designated transmission equipment, facilitating communication between individual sources of voice and video signals, meeting the requirements for processing and storing large volumes of data, and providing commanding officers with the relevant data.

The system consists of hardware units and software equipment. The overall network concept envisages separation into a classified "RED" segment and an unclassified "BLACK" segment. The two segments of the network are connected via a separating "Diode," which allows only one-way data transfer.

MNX LIGHT is equipped with the appropriate software (virtualisation, Microsoft, A-FLEX licence) according to project requirements.
The MNX LIGHT module configured in this way is designed to provide RED services for the IS OTS VŘ PozS system and BLACK services provided by GDS, enable one-way connection of STRK, and enable connection via transit resources such as: OTKS, Internet, GSM, Ethernet, Fibre Optics, V-SAT, Milsatcom.
To provide RED services, MNX LIGHT is equipped with a server, the LMCP-7H communication platform, which enables the creation of up to five IS OTS VŘ PozS workstations.
